When I take my drone out, every detail is planned—from flight paths to take-off spots. Porthmadog was no different. For this shot, I aimed to capture the train passing Britannia Terrace. But, as often happens, things didn’t go to plan. With a limited battery, I missed the moment.
Still, I got to watch it steam back over the terrace—just not through the lens, but through my car window seconds after leaving my car park space.
